About Us

Radiance in Hope is a Catholic non-profit organization dedicated to helping those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We accompany you during this process of mourning to transform it into offering, peace, gratitude, love and HOPE. We also help you understand the process of grief and to discover the blessings that come during this unique time of our lives.

We welcome non-Catholics.

Our Story

Radiance in Hope was founded in spring of 2025 by Martha G. Hinojosa and Beatriz Gomez.

We are two sisters who have experienced the beauty of what God can do in our lives, but also difficult moments including grief; especially after the passing of our dear father in September of 2024.

His last week on earth was very difficult for us. We felt devastated and confused, but we accepted God’s will. Clinging to Jesus and uniting our suffering with him was the only way we could find comfort and hope. After our father left this world life continued its course, but we were grieving and with little support. We could only cope with this pain through closeness with Jesus, especially by receiving the Eucharist frequently.

While many moments of our grieving process haven't been easy, we have also experienced a profound sense of peace, joy, gratitude and hope. None of these comforting experiences would have been possible without God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is in our past, our present, and our future. His love and mercy for us never changes. He is always there for us and we must reciprocate this by being there for others too.

Through our organization we help others understand the grieving process and accompany them as they discover the graces that can flourish during this time, in union with Jesus.
