MARTHA G. HINOJOSA

Martha G. Hinojosa is a bilingual children's book writer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in  International Business from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico, and an Early Childhood Montessori certification by the American Montessori Society (AMS). She worked as a Montessori teacher and taught private Spanish courses for several years in Oklahoma City and the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She is a wife and mother of two boys, one in heaven and one on earth.  After moving with her family to a small town in Texas in 2019, she home educated her son from Pre-K-1 st grade. It was during this period as a home educator that she discovered her talent for writing and capturing the fun moments with her son. In 2022 she published her first book on Amazon: There’s a Baby Cricket in My Room! Other books include: I’m Just like Grandpa, Mi Abuelo y Yo Nos Parecemos, and Mi Changuito Chifladito. Her most recent book: Come Let Us Adore Him! An invitation to Adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, is the fruit of hours spent in Adoration. She does author visits upon request. She loves traveling with her husband and son and visiting the National Shrines and Catholic churches in the US, Mexico and Canada. Her true passion is adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, participating in the celebration of the Holy Mass, and talking to children and families about the love Jesus has for all of us. She teaches her son every day about God. For Martha, families are very important. She was blessed to grow up in a family where God was always at the center of their lives. She learned to pray and worship God by her parents. As Pope Francis said: “The family is a domestic church.” She believes that it is in the family where the seeds of love, faith, hope and charity are planted and cultivated; while the church nourishes those virtues and helps us grow in sanctity. She had a great bond with her father that continued as an adult. Her phone calls with her dad were very often about God. When her father passed away in late 2024, she felt confused by grief, but never hopeless. Her faith in Jesus embraced her, but she still had many questions about the mourning process. With few resources for people who grieve the loss of a loved one, and along with her sister Beatriz, they created Radiance in Hope to share what God can do in the lives of those who are mourning, to feel the healing power and the love of Jesus always. Martha also wants to inspire others to trust in Jesus with hope: hope in His promises, hope in the resurrection, and hope to be reunited with our loved ones one day. Martha is striving to live in the Most Holy Divine Will. She believes that in God’s Divine Will, there are no coincidences, because Radiance in Hope was founded in the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025.

BEATRIZ GOMEZ

Beatriz is the youngest daughter of a large family and someone who aspires to go to heaven one day! She chose to be her father’s caregiver, while she worked full-time, and also took care of her mother. Since she was young, Beatriz always had a close relationship and friendship with her father. She admires him for instilling the Catholic faith in her life and for always helping others.  She sees her caregiving role as a blessing and has many fond memories of her dad, such as singing and sharing stories together, even when he was very ill. She misses her dad tremendously, but she knows her dad is always with her, watching and looking after her.  During the last two years of her dad’s life she felt that God tested her. He tested her patience, understanding, faith and love. God gave her strength and led her to have a closer relationship and love for God and for her dad, coupled by gratitude. She continues to be her mother’s caregiver, another blessing and an opportunity to grow in holiness.   Beatriz holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in International Studies from Texas State University. Before completing her Master’s degree she interned at the largest English newspaper in Southeast Asia, The Cambodia Daily in Phnom Penh, during the summer of 2013. She has over four years of experience working in the area of international education, specifically with international and domestic students at Texas State University and the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).  She has spent the last six years working in the nonprofit sector helping our immigrant brothers and sisters reunite with their loved ones, administering programs, and connecting them with social and legal services across the country. Prior to her work in the non profit sector she worked as a Language and Cultural Assistant near Granada, Spain, teaching English to children and working with teachers on cultural and academic activities for approximately a year. While in Spain, she volunteered with Catholic Charities coordinating extracurricular activities for a group of high school and middle school students. In the summer of 2024 Beatriz was a mentor to a high school student who was part of the Startup Venture Challenge through the Ciocca Center at The Catholic University of America. She likes staying involved wherever she is,  particularly at church, where she has been a lector, and currently a choir member at her home parish in Central, TX.  Beatriz loves spending time in nature, singing to Jesus, learning and engaging in cultural activities. She also enjoys spending time with God, loved ones and friends.  Most importantly , she is striving to live in the Divine Will of God.
